Spanish tower crane manufacturer Linden Comansa has developed a new hoist drive system that can reduce hoist cycle times and boost productivity in its tower cranes by up to 29%.
Linden Comansa’s new Effi-Plus hoist drive system has been applied to the 24kW, 37kW, 50kW and 65kW hoist drives used in the firm’s LC1100, LC2100 and LCL series tower cranes.
Since January this year, the firm has been fitting the Effi-Plus system into its tower cranes as standard and claims to have increased compatible hoists’ lifting and lowering speeds by as much as 70% when lifting light loads.
